Herdade dos Grous Branco

Grape varieties

  • Antão Vaz (50%)
  • Arinto (30%)
  • Roupeiro (20%)

Vinification
The hand-picked grapes are de-stemmed and then cooled down through thermal shock to 10°C.
After two days of cold maceration the wine ferments during the following 3 weeks in steel tanks at a temperature of 14°C.

Serving
We recommend serving this wine with seafood, poultry or pasta carbonara.
Ideal serving temperature is 10 to 12°C. 

Herdade dos Grous Tinto

Grape varieties

  • Alicante Bouschet (30%)
  • Syrah (15,5%)
  • Touriga Nacional (20%)
  • Aragonez (35%)

Vinification
The hand-picked grapes are de-stemmed and then cooled down through thermal shock to 10°C. After two days of cold maceration the wine ferments in small steel tanks. The maturing takes place in new barrique barrels made from French oak.

Serving
We recommend serving this wine with roast beef, chicken curry or spaghetti bolognese.
Ideal serving temperature is 14 to 16°C. 

Herdade dos Grous Reserva

Grape varieties

  • Alicante Bouschet (50%)
  • Syrah (30%)
  • Touriga Nacional (20%)

Vinification
These grapes are hand-picked, de-stemmed, crushed and transferred gently into the wine press. After two days of cold maceration, the wine will ferment at controlled temperature conditions. The maturing takes place during 12 months in new barrique barrels made from French oak.

Serving
We recommend serving this wine with steak 'au poivre', duck breast or osso bucco milanese.
Ideal serving temperature is 16 to 18°C.
