In the spring, the Castro Verde landscape, called ”White Field”, becomes a color picture that gives  for bird lovers the ideal place to observe the fantastic parades of breeding season of Great Bustard and Little Bustard. While in winter this same landscape creates the ideal resources for the concentration of a large number of species of birds.
